So recovery is going well…until I overdo it. Unfortunately, that is happening a lot. The doctor said I can do more, but listen to my body. I feel okay. I do stuff. I pay for it later. It’s been hard. I have trouble sitting still and have watched many, many episodes of Heartland. I think I’m on my fourth episode of the day. At this rate, I’ll have the entire series rewatched before I go back to work.
I had plans for when I was out. I was going to read a lot, write a lot, and try to send things out to publishers. I haven’t done any of it. Okay, I read two and a half chapters of a book yesterday while helping my mom out with something. I did write a few paragraphs of my third Scarlette Gunn novel and a little editing on the second Paranormal Academy.
So tomorrow I get my stitches out, and I have an appointment Thursday to learn exercises with a physical therapist. The doctor said last week everything is looking good and I was able to finally wash my foot. It felt so good.
Today’s goal is to do laundry, take out trash, and maybe look into some publishers, maybe. It all just depends on what happens. In reality, it’s probably going to just be laundry, trash, and television. Unfortunately, laundry and trash need to be done.
