Work/ School Balance

Last weekend I struggled with time management. Due to this, I didn’t spend the time on my Capstone class assignment it needed. I think I may have also gotten a little cocky with my great job on the assignment before. Last Saturday I went on a shopping trip with my mom and wasn’t able to get the amount of homework done as I should have. I needed to pick up my new glasses and ended up getting a few other things. I shouldn’t have done it and I should have spent more time on my assignment than I did. I was shocked when I got 100 on my drawing assignment because I rushed that one. I know I did and I expected to have a bad grade. It was completely my fault and I need to do better this week.

Here’s the thing about this week. Yesterday at about 4am I woke up and spent two hours vomiting because I was an idiot and mixed alcohol with an antibiotic (not a lot, just half an Angry Orchard). That caused me to be violently sick and the rest of the day was shot. I ended up pulling it together enough to get what was due last night done and that was it. So everyone can guess what I’m doing today. I’ll do better than last week. I have to.

So here’s the update on the house. I now have the house area marked off with some kind of black tarp and wooden thing. I also have a driveway now! The septic is going in, well, they started it on Friday so it’ll be done soon. I have no idea how long it takes to do a gravity septic, but it is in process. I also heard from the well guy and I have a well going in next week! So I’ll have a septic, well, driveway, and marked off house area by the end of next week I think.

The nerve-wracking part is I contacted the bank to get my approval re-done. I have done everything right, paid things off, and not added anything. My credit score even improved so there shouldn’t be an issue, but it still makes you a little nervous. Hopefully, I hear from the bank soon and get the green light.
